ABOUT THE WORK: “MEDITATION NARRATIVES”":
Since July I've been painting a new series about what it feels like inside my body, to be "trapped" Sheltering in Place due to COIVD. Inspired by crows I saw flying on one of my few days of escape to the beach - I've been exploring painting crows, both abstract and narratively since then. I’ll share works in progress and hopefully a couple finished pieces from this series.
I’ll also share some glimpses of some works in progress that I started back in early Spring 2020, right before the pandemic hit, also full sized self-portrait narratives based on my meditations. Come and see them, and I’ll tell you more about how they came to be.
